Here's how it works, from sign-up to job completion.

Step 1: Create Your Company Account

Sign up your company in under 3 minutes. Add your business details, primary contacts, and site information. Once you're in, you have full access to your private dashboard — no waiting, no back-and-forth email chains, no lost requests.

Step 2: Set Up Your First Project

Every job site starts as a project — think of it as the big picture. Whether you're building the Easton Mall, running a road closure program in Richmond, or managing an ongoing civic building renovation, each site gets its own project space.

Add the project name, location, and description. From here, you'll manage every crew, every trade, and every worker request that belongs to that site.

Bonus: You can run as many active projects as you need. Everything stays organized — no more sticky notes or spreadsheets.

Step 3: Create Jobs Inside Each Project

A project usually has more than one trade on site. Inside each project, you can create as many jobs as you need — one for your Traffic Control Team, one for your Skilled Labour crew, one for your Framers, one for your Concrete Finishers.

Each job gets its own start date, expected duration, and status. You can extend a work period, mark it complete, or scale it up mid-project.

Step 4: Request the Exact Workers You Need

Click Request Workers and tell us exactly what your site requires:

Worker Trade — Traffic Control Person, Framer, Concrete Finisher, Welder, General Labour, and 20+ more
Quantity — 1 worker or a full crew of 20
Required Certifications — WHMIS 2015, Working at Heights, CSTS-2020, Fall Protection, First Aid/CPR, Asbestos L1/L2, and more
Additional Notes — shift details, PPE requirements, specific equipment they need to bring, site-specific duties

Send the request in one click. Our dispatcher receives it instantly.

Step 5: Track Real-Time Staffing Progress

The moment your request goes out, you'll see a live Staffing Timeline on your dashboard:

Request Submitted — we've received it
Recruiting — our dispatcher is pulling matching workers from our database
Dispatch Complete — your crew is confirmed and ready

You'll also see Dispatcher's Notes — a direct line of communication with the Gama team. Ask questions, add clarifications, or request adjustments right from the page.

Step 6: Review Every Worker Before They Arrive on Site

This is what makes Gama different. Once matches are found, you get a full Assigned Workers view showing each worker's:

Full profile with photo, trade, and years of experience
Certifications on file (WHMIS, Fall Protection, CSTS, First Aid, etc.)
Tools and PPE they bring to the job
Past project history and number of completed dispatches
Rating and reviews from other contractors

While the job is live, use the dashboard to:

See who's currently assigned and who's active on site
Request additional workers if the job scales up
Dismiss any worker mid-job — our dispatcher gets notified instantly and confirms replacement or adjustment
Extend the work period if the project runs longer than planned
Mark the job complete when the work is done

Every action you take is logged and visible to both your team and ours.

Step 8: Review Workers & Close Out

When a worker finishes their assignment, complete a quick Worker Review — rate their performance, add optional comments, and submit. Your feedback helps us build a stronger pool of reliable workers for your next job and rewards the top performers who show up ready to work.
